A new model extends prediction to complexes involving proteins and other molecular components.
The AlphaFold 3 paper described structure prediction for complexes containing proteins, nucleic acids and small molecules.
This can support hypothesis generation in drug discovery. Predicted binding configurations do not establish pharmacology, toxicity or clinical benefit; those questions require additional evidence.
